Our Founder
Paul J. Meyer is considered one of the most influential people in the personal achievement industry. He is perhaps the No.1-selling author of personal development materials in the world, having sold more than $2.5 billion worth of his materials which have been translated into 26 languages in more than 80 countries through Leadership Management International and The Success Motivation Institute.

With an entrepreneurial spirit dating to his youth he was always a game changer. Before age 25, he built the largest insurance agency in North America, recruiting 820 agents in 12 months; at a time when the competition averaged about 5 to 20 agents.

Our History
Founded in 1960 by Paul J. Meyer, LMI/SMI South Africa represents one of over 80 countries using the LMI/SMI process and concept.

Thanks to the expertise and professional background of its team LMI/SMI succeeds in the development of leadership and motivational competencies throughout South Africa.

LMI/SMI’s role is to develop effective leaders, people and organizations through the implementation of unique LMI/SMI processes. The success of our work has led to LMI/SMI material being translated into more than 25 languages, and implemented in 80 countries around the globe from South America to Sweden.
